The store features formal, traditional and contemporary collections, as well as casual European, eclectic, and budget friendly products. We carry pieces which may be very difficult to find elsewhere. New designs from venerable old American factories, such as Baker, Henkel-Harris, Hickory Chair and Kindel can be found on the store floor. Collectors wait eagerly for the containers of hand-inlaid traditional European furniture. Modern designs by Barbara Barry, Ray Booth, Thomas Pheasant, Thomas O’Brien, McGuire, and others are stocked for immediate delivery. Everything we carry is considered the best of a category, whether a bespoke English cabinet or a little modern breakfast room chair. In addition, many one-of-a-kind accents and hand-knotted rugs complete the displays. Our selection is broad and constantly changing.

Meredith O’Donnell Fine Furniture, Accessories & Rugs began as a fine furniture store but evolved into a full service design firm. It was originally located at Kirby Drive and West Alabama. In 2010, the store was relocated to a new, much larger facility between the Galleria and Uptown on Post Oak Boulevard. In 2020, the store relocated to the Houston Design District in a freestanding building on Old Katy Road connected to the only Hickory Chair showroom available in south Texas. The new location is conveniently located inside Loop 610 around the flourishing interior design community. Meredith O’Donnell continues to fill a unique niche for people looking for just the right pieces of furniture for their homes.
