Trosby
TROSBY Furniture began in the 1940’s as a small workshop of master craftsmen dedicated to hand-crafting the finest 18th and 19th century English reproduction furniture for home or office.
Trosby is still high quality bench made product custom built to individual client specifications. Fine veneers are hand selected for items constructed with yew wood, burr ash, burl walnut, mappa burl, mahogany, satinwood and other exotic woods. Moldings and carved surfaces are solid. Each piece is colored by a master polisher to match the veneer of the item. Drawers and doors have solid brass locks and are keyed alike. Every piece of glass is individually cut and set by hand. Leather is applied by skilled bookbinders. There are no shortcuts in the construction process. Carving and fretwork is done by hand. Bespoke and very custom, all made to order, TROSBY modern clean line designs are now also available for those who love the classics but want something new. Originally produced only in England, now also made in the USA .

Good News:

More Good News:
Trosby will be made by hand the old fashioned way in the US, so in the future, later this year, standard and custom pieces will be available again. Keeping master craftsmen, who are like artists, employed.
